Pretty damned random: 2 momofuki in one day
The google doodle for the yesterday, Mar 5, here, celebrated what would have been the 105th birthday of the inventor of instant ramen, Japanese inventor Momofuku Ando.
It flitted by my consciousness until an unrelated Amazon search, same day, for acetate film, here, told me that it was used for momofuku cakes. Wow!
Two momofuku's in a day? Gotta find out about that. And then, a day late, gotta blog about it. If that doesn't qualify as Random S*&#, then what does?
Well, it turns out they are different momofuki (that being the plural of momofuku. Not.) The second momofuku is from the NY bake shop momofuku milk bar that makes cakes, like this one, for which you use acetate.
Who knew?
Maybe I'll make one. Look interesting.
