HTM5 and Awesome Intefaces

Seems like thee is little that you can't do with HTML5. This page links to some really awesome graphics animated demos. The source code is available, of course, by using your browser to inspect the HTLM5 source (Ctrl-U for Chrome) and then clicking on the included javascript. A few bits are compacted, and hard to read, but most of it is visible, usable, and probably stealable.

I wonder if it is possible to build a prezi-like interface using HTML5 and some sort of database back end to host all the invisible content? And how much code would it actually take.
