Best tutrorial for the CSS box model..and more
After wasting an embarrassingly long time trying to position HTML elements for a project I'm doing, I broke down and did what I should have done long before: studied a good CSS tutorial.
Fortunately I had found one a while ago, recommended by one of the G+ contributors I follow. Unfortunately I had not bookmarked it, or recorded it in this blog, an omission I am correcting right now.
The site is "Learn CSS Layout," and it's here: http://learnlayout.com/.
It's written by bocoup, a Boston-based consulting company. http://bocoup.com/
They point to a series of tutorials here by Shay Howe (@shayhowe on Twitter). He's also got more advanced courses, linked to from that page.
I have not gone through the tutorials yet, but since "Learn Layout" is so clean, elegant, and clear, and the folks at bocoup recommend Shay's courses, those will be my next stop.
