Zemanta for blogging assistance
Zemanta is a service that aggregates web information so that you can incorporate it into your blog. There’s a plug in for Windows Live Writer (which is what I’m using to this post) and one for Chrome that knows when you are on a blog’s composition pages and activates itself.
You ask it to “Analyze Text” and it reads through your composition then finds places where you might want to create hyperlinks, and offers to apply them for you. How nice of it. For this post, it hyperlinked Windows Live Writer (first time only) and Chrome. Modestly it did not offer to link Zemata.com. But maybe it will now. Nope. It just gave me a link to hyperlinks. Or maybe it doesn't do it when I don't spell Zemanta correctly.
